Oh, this is beautiful. Wonderful insight into the Doctor, and a very interesting take on the Ten/Rose dynamic which I don’t think the fandom at large gets to see enough of.

And, of course, the relationship with Martha as described through this is just brilliant. Very sad, that fear keeps the Doctor from expressing and showing so much, but also very powerful and moving, especially how he comes to trust her almost more than he trusts himself.
